Birth Partner Massage Workshop

Bring your birth partner to this workshop to learn how to massage you through pregnancy and birth

As a massage therapist and former midwife I know the huge value of massage in labour for many women and their partners.

It can be relaxing, calming, connecting and grounding for you both.

In this workshop I’ll teach your birth partner a variety of massage techniques for them to use in labour (and before and after labour too). You’ll go away with some pre-printed notes and massage oil so your birth partner will have all they need to practice at home and remember what to do on the big day!

It’ll be a hands on workshop with lots of practice and guidance. No previous massage experience is required!

Whether you're newly pregnant or nearing birth, please come and join us for a relaxing and empowering workshop, to help prepare you for the arrival of your baby, and the postpartum period.

The workshop will begin with a welcoming circle and gentle yoga flow with Lily, a qualified Pregnancy / Postnatal Yoga Teacher and Hypnobirthing Instructor, focusing on breathing techniques, birthing positions, and ways to enhance the magical hormone oxytocin through self-massage and deep relaxation.

Followed by loving ways to help support, care & promote healing during the postpartum period, including feeding advice from Lydia, a qualified Infant Feeding Coach and former Midwife.

Tea and yummy snacks provided, along with the opportunity to design your own personal affirmation cards if you wish!

Come and join us for a morning of gentle yoga, an introduction to hypnobirthing, infant feeding preparation and postnatal planning. The morning will finish with a glorious sound bath with @gdflou to help you float through the rest of the weekend.
